Many people are frightened about the opioid crisis they hear in the news every day. The potential legalization of “marijuana” nationwide has parents, law enforcement and alcohol/drug awareness industry very concerned. The legalization of “marijuana” doesn’t address health concerns and risk. As a parent how do I have the conversation with my son or daughter? Most parents are unaware of the “drug of the day” the language and how to approach their son/daughter with current and relevant information. The Courts, Youth advocates and Awareness organization are in need of current research, the right approach and framework that can connect to people in an impactful way. Marijuana 420: 8hrs
The Problem:
I received a misdemeanor charge and I need an awareness/prevention program just for marijuana. I need a class that specifically addresses the challenges with marijuana. I’m a 1st time offer and have been referred to a diversion program and looking for an awareness/prevention program on marijuana. I want to learn about the risk associated with smoking marijuana
Parent Prime: 9hrs
The Problem:
How do I communicate with child about alcohol & drugs? I think I know what to say about alcohol but drugs is something different? I don’t have a clue about drugs, or what my son/daughter may know.
Universal Program: 4.5 hrs/ 8hrs
The Problem:
I want to learn about the risk of using alcohol & drugs. I want to have an in-service/workshop for my group about alcohol/drugs awareness and prevention. I want to educate myself and my group on the health risk of alcohol/drugs in a current and relevant manner.
